A MAC address (Media Access Control address) is a unique identifier assigned to your device’s network interface. If you’re trying to access a secured network or need to register your device for authentication, you may be asked to provide your MAC address.
Below are step-by-step instructions for finding your MAC address on various devices:
📱 iPhone / iPad

Open the Settings app.

Tap General.

Tap About.

Scroll down to Wi-Fi Address – this is your device’s MAC address.
Note: Starting from iOS 14, Apple uses Private Wi-Fi addresses by default. If you need the real MAC address for a specific network:

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi

Tap the ⓘ next to your network

Turn off Private Wi-Fi Address to reveal your real MAC address

💻 iMac / MacBook (macOS)

Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner.
